Christopher J. McClellan

Chris has over twenty-five years experience as a portfolio manager and securities analyst. He graduated from Reed College with a degree in Economics. Chris is a member of CFA Institute and the Security Analysts of San Francisco. He joined Van Strum & Towne in 1982 as a shareholder and Portfolio Manager. Chris began his career as a Portfolio Manager in 1973 at Kennedy Associates in Seattle, Washington. In 1979, he joined Pacific Asset Management, a San Francisco Investment Counsel firm, as a Principal and Portfolio Manager.
James L. Collins, CFA

James joined Van Strum & Towne in January 1998. He graduated from Bowdoin College, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. James holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Security Analysts of San Francisco and CFA Institute. He is also a Registered Investment Advisor Representative. James has additional responsibilities for Van Strum & Towne`s portfolio management information systems.
Mark A. Sherman, CFA

Mark joined Van Strum & Towne in February 1999. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Bridgewater College, Virginia, and was awarded a Master of Business Administration degree from the College of William and Mary. Prior to joining Van Strum & Towne, Mark was employed as a research associate with NationsBanc Montgomery Securities, and as a Certified Public Accountant with McGladrey & Pullen. Mark holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Security Analysts of San Francisco and CFA Institute. Mark has additional responsibilities for Van Strum & Towne`s regulatory compliance.
Barbara A. Wright, CFA

Barbara joined Van Strum & Towne in 2000. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. Prior to joining Van Strum & Towne, Barbara worked for more than twelve years in the investment management industry with responsibilities in client services, operations and accounting following a career as a professional golfer that included playing in the 1985 U.S. Open. Barbara holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Security Analysts of San Francisco and CFA Institute. She is also a Registered Investment Advisor Representative. Barbara has additional responsibilities for Van Strum & Towne' s accounting and treasury functions.
